Donn Posner PhD (Brown University) and Michael Perlis PhD (University of Pennsylvania) present a first ever collection of video examples demonstrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia in session-by-session format. Each video segment is prefaced with discussion with Drs Posner and Perlis regarding the goals and likely problems that the therapist will encounter during each session. Each per session video segment provides a vignette portrayal of how each session of CBT-I unfolds with a patient who is suffering from moderate uncomplicated Insomnia Disorder.

Two disk DVD set features:

  • over 6 hours of therapist-patient interactions as they unfold over the 8 session CBT-I model
  • extra material outlining differences how one approaches the delivery of the 4P model (Spielman + Conditioning)
  • bloopers

All told, we believe the video series is an excellent compliment to other training modalities including core BSM readings, treatment manuals, mini-fellowship opportunities, and CE courses.
